Structural Products

It is no secret that PVC is less rigid than wood. However, that does not prevent its use as a material to construct structural products such as: railings, pergola beams and rafters, roof brackets, columns, etc. Our solution to create structural rigidity to our custom manufacturing process when needed is to add aluminum.

Aluminum flat stock and square or rectangular tubing is often the core material of our structural components which we permanently encase in PVC.

Just to help wrap your mind around this, we’re taking PVC, which will never rot, and permanently encasing a material that is 3 times stronger than wood and creating beautiful architectural products to your exact specification! So why are you even considering wood?

Bay window bracket

This bracket was designed for under a bay window that needed support from underneath. The metal was attached first and the bracket slid over when it was attached.

Custom Garage Bracket

This bracket was designed to carry the weight of a large overhang on a garage roof. The aluminum for this bracket was placed in the bracket itself and the fastening happened right through the face and was plugged and sanded after.

Pergola Carrying Beam

With aluminum tube inserted in this carrying beam the customer was easily able to run audio and low voltage lighting through their pergola in a conceled way. Now they have the best of function and form.

Lattice Gate

This gate needed to be an exact match of an existing gate, which made the aluminum placement a little difficult. However we were still able to get a 4 piece welded frame in here to prevent any sagging in the future.

Large Railing

This large top rail needed to be able to withstand the forces of people leaning and sitting against it. The large tube was more than enough to make this railing rigid and strong enough to not deflect under these forces.
