Custom Molding Profiles

One of the most common things a millwork shop will do is make custom moldings, so it’s no surprise that we offer that. There are a few things that we offer that not all purely custom shops can.

• We have invested in machinery that allows us to run 20ft or 2,000ft with ease. With our 5 head molder we can put raw material in and  a completely machined piece comes out the other side. With all four sides being cut at once our speed and accuracy have increased dramatically.
• We have a library of CAD files that show each knife. If you’d like to use an existing profile we can easily share that information or we can have a knife made that matches the exact profile you’re looking for.
• Unlike using wood we have the ability to create moldings that are much wider than normal. It’s even possible to assemble an entire cornice and ship it as one piece.
• With PVC molding you no longer have to worry about end checking, knots, cracks or other defects in the wood. Every inch of the molding will be usable material.
