Computer Aided Design services

The speed of technology makes it virtually impossible to keep up with every great option that is out there for software.  However, that doesn’t stop us from trying to make it as easy as possible to get us your designs.  Whenever possible we want to use the appropriate technology to communicate and make our work as accurate as possible.  The files we are most used to dealing with are .dxf and .dwg.  We can also import PDF files easily into our software to get correct scales and measurements.

If you need assistance with design and aren’t already working with an architect or designer there are ways we can help.  We work with a lot of architects and designers and are happy to refer you to someone or there are some items we can handle in house.  For the work we do in house please expect a similar cost structure as the other professional draftspeople.

Another service that we can offer is takeoffs.  We use a program called Planswift and have found that we get quick and highly accurate results using that.  Ultimately that means you have a more accurate estimate with less add ons after the fact.
